So.... per request of Sonrise Farm, I figured we could start a movie thread (kind of like the book thread) to share what some of our fav movies are! Newly released or old, either one! Just list whatever you like

As for me... I am a HUGE movie fan! Hubby and I have become "old married folk" and mostly sit at home on the weekends and watch movies  So I have a TON of fav movies and am sure I will forget some but here is a good start:

The Women (if you like old movies and haven't seen this one you MUST watch it!)
    Gone with the Wind
ANYTHING John Wayne (four of my favs are True Grit, McLintock, The Cowboys, and Donovan's Reef .... and the list goes on and on and on.....)
    Mister Roberts
    Singin' In The Rain
    Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
    A League of Their Own
    Dirty Dancing

    ALL the Batman Movies!
    Secondhand Lions
(I am sure I will think of more of these as we go...)

    More Recent
    The Patriot

ANYTHING Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich, My Best Friend's Wedding .....)
ANYTHING Sandra Bullock ( Speed, Practical Magic, Hope Floats ......)
    Mr. & Mrs. Smith
    Robin Hood Prince of Theives
(I really like Kevin Costner too!)

    Newer Releases
    Narnia: Prince Caspian
    Hellboy 2
(and the first one of course)
    The Dark Knight
(and many many more that I can't think of right now!)

I also collect ALL cartoons that I watched as a kid that I can find, and ANY Disney movies! Yes, I am a grown woman who was raised on Disney movies and STILL LOVE them! My Fav ones are:
    Lady and the Tramp
Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs
    Beauty and the Beast

    Ok.. your turn
