Got results back today

Steingyle ova 510 per 1gram
Coccida >2000 per 1gram
Nematudirus ova 1 per 1gram

Vet said corid and ivermectin

I'm hoping to stay natural what do you guys think of these numbers? I'm giving loh 3 times a week. I have had the goats for 2 weeks their 12 weeks old.

Yep, Corid and ivermectin sounds good because the coccidia and the strongyle is what needs to be treated.

Just make sure to fecal afterwards to make sure it works.

With those numbers I would rather get the goats clean and then use LOH for prevention afterwards - it takes a bit of time for the herbs to build up their immunity!!

500 EPG for strongyles isn’t high. What’s their FAMACHA?

The coccidia is high. I would definitely treat with CoRid or any coccidia treatment you prefer.

Most all goats have at least a little coccidia. Moving them causes stress, allows their immune system to lower, and a “bloom” can occur where counts will go high.

I would say they probably come with "some" but the move caused a bloom.

Normally I would say 500 is not worth treatment, UNLESS, @CountyLineAcres , they are quite young.

If FAMACHAs are ok, you could try to double dose the herbs, treat for the cocci, then re-fecal to see if your strongyle numbers went up or down - you could.
