Yes, unfortunately every type of feed is going up. I just paid $10.50 for henscratch! Goat pellets are now $11.50. Rabbit pellets $14.50! I dread seeing what the price of fertilizer will be this year.

Yep :( We were paying around $9.50 for our goat pellets, and has gone up around $1.00. A friend mentioned feed they are distributors for going up $3-3.50 a bag.

With the flooding wiping out so much corn prices will go up. Plus the price of fuel is going up so that raises the harvest cost as well as shipping costs.

We watch feed factors as a 4H club to roughly estimate the costs of raising each youths preferred auction project.

My feed (straight from mill) has gone up $4 a bag since November. I have been stocking up and feeding more hay than normal.

Cattle feed has gone sky high as well. Luckily, our 11 tons was delivered before the major surge.
