feeding during gestation

    wasnt there a thread somewhere about feeding during gestation, where one increased the amount of feed in the middle trimester and decreased again in the last?

    how did that work again? Im trying to think ahead (havent even bred them yet!) about how Im going to feed this year

    yup thats how I do it. WIll need to find the info again for reference but I lost all my bookmarks with my new computer and I think they wiped it :tears: ok enough rambling

    The way it works is that during the 60-120 day mark you feed the most grain, then you back it off halfway till they kid then you increase it as needed for milk production. This keeps kids from getting to big but gives mom and unborn kids the nutrition they need at the most crucial time of developement enutero (sp?)
