I understand this can vary from goat to goat and herd to herd, but how long would a 50# bag of Kelp last for 2 Nigerian Dwarf Does? I have found a place to buy some but it is a little pricey IMO and I wanted to get a idea of about how long it should last.

50 lbs. for 10 full sized goats lasts me 6 to 9 months. It does have a 3 year shelf life as long as kept dry. I think it will take you little ones a very long time to use up that much.

It depends on if you put it out free choice or not but it should last a while.

I feed my kelp to 15 goats, 2 horses, 10 big dogs and 20+ chickens. a 50 pound bag lasts me several months.

The feeding rate is 2 oz per head per day. At that rate it will last 2 goats 200 days.

I have 2 goats and feed kelp meal free choice. A 50# bag lasts about a year.
