I got a 50# sack of kelp with the intent to leave it out free choice like I do the loose minerals. However, my does go nuts over it. They swarm me like sharks when I put it out, I think they might like it more than grain. How much is too much? I’d like to leave it out free choice but I’m afraid they would overeat it. Right now I’m putting out about a pound every couple of days for 13 does/doelings. It’s gone in minutes, licked clean.

Of course my bucks have zero interest in it...

Fill at 1/4 cup per goat daily.

Thanks! That’s about what I’ve been feeding, just not daily. I’ll start daily, maybe they’ll calm down about it.

They do a bit, they are taking what they need - when it supplies them with more minerals, they will need less.
