a person wants to buy a dozen fertile chicken eggs...that isnt a problem, i've hatched our own before and know how to candle, but how much should i sell them for? thanks in advance.
I guess it all depends on the breed your selling, and your fertility/hatching rate. What kind of breed do you have? You said that you hatched before, how many did you attempt to hatch, and how many actually were successful hatches? I don't sell fertile eggs, just eggs in general for eating.
I suppose it depends on what breeds they are and if they are specialty breeds. I sold 15 dozen fertile eggs in one week to one school district last year for only $3.00 a dozen but the catch was I got back all of the chicks that they couldn't find homes for so it was a win win situation. In the end I made $45 for the eggs and I got back about 80 chicks and sold them for $3 a chick  Look around on eggbid and ebay for prices, that will give you ideas.
Yep, definitely depends on the breed. If they are "mutts" (which is fine with me, I love a good crossed layer chicken!), they will usually go for around 6-10$ a dozen. It really just depends.
