    This years kidding is officially over!
    We have 5 does- Dolly, Tina, Fran, Clementine and Lydia
    And 3 bucks- Luellen, Cocoa and Nikolai.

    And I got something in a kid thats never happened before- Lydia is curly!
    Has any one ever had a curly alpine before? Its so cute!

    Lucky you on the girls :lol: I haven't even counted how many kids we have now, I don't htink I want to know :shocked:

    I think I was up to six or 7 kids at one time-all but two were does. But, now i'm down to one doeling and 1 milker, and one left to freshen with possibly triplets.Had she been bred to the right buck-she would have freshened already and my kidding season would have been over already :thumbup: .

    Well after we sell the two extra boys we'll have a grand total of 11 goats. The most I've ever had was 6. So for me, 11 goats is a lot! :shocked:

    They are so cute, and she's gonna be a fluffy little thing too! I know what you mean about your herd growing FAST!! I got the most kids this season than I've ever had! 9 total, 6 girls and 3 boys! 7 kids sold 2 retained and my "original" herd went from 6 to 15 within 3 weeks! Now I'll have 8...3 bucks and 5 does ,2 of which are retired to be "hayburners" as hubby calls them. The doeling I retained won't be bred til November 09 so the only kids I expect next year will be from Binky.

    I love the half floppy ears, they are all so cute!!!! :stars:
