The worst part about owning goats is the selling part. Each year we try to maintain no more then 50 head of goats. But when you have an average of 30 doelings each year, trying to decide who stays and who goes turns out to be a struggle to say the least. This year we have decided to keep more doe kids then we should but they are all so close in confirmation, we will just keep evaluating them through out until next spring. BUT we were able to decided upon the following.

15 Doe kids (13 Alpines, 2 Alpine / Saanen crosses)
4 Younger Adult Does (2 Alpines, 1 Toggenburg, 1 Saanen)
2 Older Adult Does (Lamancha Doe Aged, Saanen Doe 4 years old)
2 Older Adult Toggenburg Does.
1 Lamancha Buckling.

The bulk of the Doe kids are outta our Olentangy buck, Catalyst

I believe the (younger) adult does are also outta Catalyst but may also be outta our other buck,

The Older Lamancha Doe is:

The Lamancha buckling is an A.I. outta the older Lamancha Doe. We are retaining the twin Doe kid. I dont have the A.I. buck information right off hand but can get it upon request.

Actually we do have Toggs :) We even discussed selling them as well but they are mature Does. And I was wrong, so one of the younger adult Does is a Togg.

And a first freshening yearling out of an A.I. breeding that isnt registered but could be with just an application.

Went ahead and added the Toggs. But will have to double check with my other half to make sure the two older Does are available or if she was just talking.
