If you want to meet in the middle somewhere for a hike, I could drive up from Salt Lake. BUt I'm just a beginner too.

I'm in SLC. If you want to get out of the snow for a day hike, lets do Antelope Island.

.....

Well, I just called. They say they don't allow goats or llamas on the island at all because it is "a disease issue".

Stansbury is open.

I usually go alone but would like to go with others at times. I plan on going east of Tetonia ID some time this summer/fall. Also going to Aldous lake as a short training hike and camping trip. There are a few other goat packers in SE Idaho.

Thanks!

I'm so excited.....after looking for days I found a couple of kids that I'm going to go meet this coming week.

Of course they are weanlings so it will be a long time before we do any real packing. But I have to get in shape too!

I may try to just get one and continue looking for another older goat. I have some "little" goats at home so it wouldn't be alone.

Is there a goat packing club in the SE Idaho area?
