Well, Fiona my little FF that we just could not get settled, then Joe Dirt came to us, had her babies this morning!!! She did it all by herself out with the whole gang a watchin'!! LOL!

When we did the ultrasound, we thought that there was only twins - but low and behold - Triplets!!! :girl: :boy: :boy:

Introducing the newbies! The little black with a little white is the doeling (1st born) then came the white with black spotted buckling, then the buckskin buckling. I am concerned with the buckskin (last born) that he might have some problems, but I am not sure yet. I will keep you posted.

I brought all of them ( including mom) into the house to try and get them warmed up and get them to nurse. The buckskin is not wanting to stand at all.

Enjoy!

Thank you all for your comments.

I am still pretty concerned with the buckskin, and maybe it is because of my vet background with dogs and cats. I am so hoping that when I get home tonight that he will be ok. I am concerned about his back legs and if there is possible neroligical issues - But I will let you know.

congrats!! They are cute : :thumb:

Have you given the kids Bo-Se yet? This year with the multiples we've been having trouble with one of them just being weak kids, not wanting to stand or nurse at all. We gave them a Bo-Se shot and if they needed it we started them on a bottle and they all ended up fine. We give our standard kids 1/4 cc, so maybe an 1/8 cc for minis?

I haven't given them anything yet - but I was just talking to a local breeder and she mentioned to give the BoSe or if I can't get that she gave me the name of a paste that I can use. She called it "white muscle" something.

So I will give that tonight! I already have the little girl sold (the strongest and ready to play girl) and she is going to be a bottle baby, so I am going to pull her tommorrow night and that will be better for the boys also.

Anyway,

Talk to you all soon!

Well, I was able to get BoSe injections for the babies last night, and wow - what a difference this morning! The buckskin is up and around and doing so much better. You can sure feel the muscle difference in his back legs compared to the others.

The vet that I ended up getting the meds from was telling me that the local vet hospital has made a goat loose mineral specifically for this area. I think that I will be purchasing some of that immediately for my goaties!

In other news, I have the doeling sold already, and it looks like the boys are sold also and will be wethered and going to the same home. I am so excited!!

Thank you all!
