Here is our first buck of the year. He is alpine. His mom had trouble last year delivering a big buck. She had no trouble this year.

What do you think of him?

Thanks! He is an alpine. I was so thrilled when I saw him this morning. His mom is a great doe. I was hoping she'd throw a doe this year, but I can't complain about this handsome guy!

Gorgeous! Brand new and he already looks so level and straight, even angular... he doesn't have much of that rounded/curled up baby look that some kids do, does he?
