First drop spindle opinions please

    Yeah, the round part is half hidden when I have it chucked up in the lathe so I do half then turn it around and do the other side. As soon as I pulled it out I knew it looked to clunky!

    You turned those on a lathe I assume? I'm a woodworker too. No working lathe right now. But I'd try some of the turning groups on FB and see if any of the turners make and sell those. Yes they look great but like you said you need a spinner to tell you and I'm guessing they'll say they'd have to spin it to know if it's good. At least someone who makes them for sale can maybe give you some pointers.

    Made six for the lady that bred our goats, gave them to her as an extra thank you, she loved them and said they were very nice!
