Is it ok to use fly spray on goats? I am thinking of using horse spray that has pyrethrins; the same that I use on my horses. Or is there something else better? Sorry if this has been a thread before, but couldn't find one in the search.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to use a spray for horses on goats, however you can find a spray especially for goats at a co-op. Good luck!

We have used the fly spray in the bright purple bottle in the past but my goats despise being sprayed and there are quite a few of them and it is supposed to be re-applied frequently.

I use Cylence cattle pour-on instead now, it goes along the topline every 3-4 weeks.

Salty..have you had good succes keeping flies off with cylence?..flies are so bad here
