Well I have been having pain and weakness in my left arm when milking and doing most anything. Everyone kept telling me it was age related arthritis, 48 is NOT THAT OLD. I had an x-ray done and loe and behold I do not have ANY arthritis in my shoulder. However I do have a partially torn rotator cuff. We are going to try physical therapy first, the recovery time for surgery is 6 months or more. I was given a betamethasone shot into the joint and it has helped somewhat so maybe I can do the exercises to help strengthen my shoulder muscles.

Wishes for the betamethasone shot to continue working and good luck with therapy. Good to have an answer too, for your symptoms.

do the surgery as quick as possible if theropy doesnt work. Grandmom never got surgery but did PT for months and she still doesnt have full range of motion.
