    For future reference:

Will giving a dose of Nutri-Drench or Power Punch affect coccidia medication? I do believe Nutri-Drench and Power Punch both have B vitamins. Is there enough of it in there to counteract the coccidia meds?

I would imagine that it would hinder it at the very least

I'd have to agree, we "push" the nutri drench when our goaties are off, but those extra B vitamins are the culprit in cocci being a continued problem. I do think that Nuti Drench as well as any other fortified goat energy source should be avoided during cocci treatment.

I'd say it woudl depend upon how much thiamin is in it. Maybe supplementing molasses for nutri drench when they are sick woudl be better?

Sarah, that would be an excellent energy source, besides the sugars it has iron in it as well.

depends on how much B1 (thiamin) is in it as Sarah said. I dont usualy give it in large doses and I dont give it when giving cocci meds
