Now I am wondering if I should shave or not. Her udders are fuzzy but yesterday we had near 0 temps. Today round 11, climbing up to 22 around Wednesday. I don't know how the rest of the month will be but it can get quite cold here. So should I have her udders or not?

You dont have to. IF the udder is very fuzzy though and the kids cant easily find the teats that a little scissor action might be in order to make sure. I hear that vaseline on the udder helps to keep the birth goo from sticking to the fuzzy udders adn hind legs

Shaving is not an option here...at least this time of year! lol

I do "trim" with clippers though....not to the skin, but just enough to get those long hairs off and away from the teats. Cleanup of the doe is alot easier and keps her back end "pretty" if you smear the back of the udder as well as the backs of her legs with either bag balm( the stuff in the green can) or vaseline....the yuckies slide right off.
