My baby had babies today! We've had many since, but she was the first one born on our farm, so its special. The first time we've bred her.

Anyway, I was not expecting her to kid for two weeks yet. She was bred March 16th, so this is only adding up to 135 days. The twins are healthy, and of course, beautiful!

I don't get it. Totally separate pens. I actually took her on a lead into the bachelor pad to do the deed. She was definitely in heat. I don't see how she could have been bred any earlier.

Ideas?

I thought of that. Yes, they do share a fence line. 2" x 2" welded wire though. I don't think she'd have been that willing to back up to it. No boys in with that group of girls.

If that's what happened, I have 2 bucks in there, so wouldn't know who Daddy is. She's not registered (Pygmy/Nigerian cross), but it would be good to know.

I'm trying to picture the mechanics of that..... I mean, what would he brace his legs on? And she'd have to back right up to the fence.

I saw an ad for puppies once: Half Golden Retriever, half Barn Wall Climber.
