We have 12 bucks in a small isolation facility, and while the coveralls can stay stinking to high heck, the company vehicles cannot. So, what's your best trick for getting out buck smell? Clothes are relatively easy, car seats and other things, not so much...

Never dealt with this but I have male rats for pets... they like to mark EVERYTHING. I use lysol sanitizing spray to sanitize things that I cant put in the wash and it gets the smell right out.

I think we're going to try the odor spray, probably in combination with some kind of citrus spray and a seat cover.

Jeebus, boys can be so whiny when their precious truck smells like farm animals!

I have, at least the original scent. I believe I have created a new smell with that one...it's not pleasant...still haven't come up with a name for it.

I can only imagine what that new scent smells like, and I'm trying very hard not to! I wasn't sure if it would work or not because I'm allergic to it and don't use it. I was going by what other people said, but I doubt they have tried it to get rid of buck smell.

Many years ago when we were breeding and training dogs, a pet supply company sent us a sample of an odor killer along with a small bottle of synthesized dog sweat . This was one of the nastiest smelling thing I have found, right up there and surpassing, possibly, the dreaded buck odor.

I tested it in a small shed we had and the smell was enough to "gag a maggot", so to speak :-o. Enough that you couldn't stay in the room for long. I sprayed the odor killing formula around the room and the smell was gone.

Unfortunately...that was about 35-40 years ago and I cannot remember what it was called (dang half-heimers :-|)

Might give a look a PetMeds or one of the other pet suppliers....never know what you might find.
