Giving antibiotics after assisting with birth?

I had to assist my doe last night with a kid and I want to known if I need to give antibiotics? I have bio-mycin 200 on hand.

I wouldn't. They clean out pretty good.

I’d keep an eye on her temperature and check for foul smells. Chances are she’ll be ok without

Did you have to go in Or just pull on a leg or something like that?

If you had to go really deep in, it may be a good idea to treat her in case.
PenG is best for uterine infections.
I only got my hand half way in but of course I forgot to put gloves on.
No gloves is no issue. I don’t use them.
If you washed up really good, putting your hand part way in, I don’t see an issue. Still keep an eye on her.
