Hi All! I'm brand new to the site, this is my first post. Just wondering what you all have in your goat emergency kits. I have a few things, but I would like to know what things you've all found to be absolutely necessary. I have:
Hoof Trimmers
Dewormer (SafeGuard/Ivermec)
Copper Bolus
Dry Shampoo (for THOSE emergencies...)

I'm looking for suggestions from the well seasoned (wethered??) goat owners.

A little about my goats:
I have two wether boys, they are 6 months old and about 60 lbs. (using the measuring tape method). They are a cross of Boer and Nubian. They are currently fed twice daily a supplement of Noble Goat, with free access to grass hay. They also have loose minerals and a salt block free choice.

Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide!

A kit can be as complex as you want it to be, and it will take time to build it. Something's I would look at adding to yours now would be :

BO-SE
Baking soda
Vitamin B Complex
Probios Paste
Thermometer
Wound spray (Blue Kote)

Vet Wrap bandages

I keep seeing items I've missed, I guess I'm not too bad off. I do have baking soda too, although I rarely offer it.
