I have a 20 acre farm that I am just now beginning to raise chickens and goats on. I have several mini ponies, a retired quarterhorse, an old goat and some farm dogs. I am seeing if anyone has some suggestions for a quirky farm name. I live in MS. My hopes are to sell eggs, goat milk/product and some kids as I get this up and running.

The only name I can come up with is Gotcha Goat Farm.

Do any of you have any suggestions?

Will you register your farm name with any of the goat registries? ADGA (dairy goat assoc) requires your farm name to be part of the goats registered name. You only get 30 spaces to name a kid, so if you have a really long farm name (with ADGA), that shortens the available spaces for a name.

You can always call your farm one thing and register a shortened version with the association(s). So, if you are Gotcha Goat Farm, you could register GG Farm!
