Has anyone had luck filing or trimming the sharp points on Nigerian Dwarf goats horns? My little boys have some sharp horns. They like to head butt one another and draw blood from time to time. I don't feel that is okay to remove them as that is how they were intended to be.

You can file or trim the tips.

I use the hoof trimmer to cut a tiny bit of and then file it round, that usually makes them blunt enough.
sometimes the little devils will sharpen them again, so a nice coarse file is a handy thing to have on hand to blunt the tips.
