One of our teenage doelings is not feeling well. We suspect she ate something she wasn't supposed to eat on pasture. We tried giving her slippery elm with milk and also charcoal tablets but she still isn't eating, she is just forced to drink milk with slippery elm to give her liquid. This is the third day for her. What else can be done?

Did you give a good amount of activated charcoal?

    Maybe give her some electrolytes.

I'm not sure on dosage. When I had a possible poisoning, the vet had me give 90cc of a liquid charcoal for a 120 lb goat.

She's pulling out. She played with the broom a bit and is eating hay now. We still will treat her for a little while but she is getting better. She just will be on the hay. Yesterday night we gave her homemade electrolytes plus an extra dose of charcoal and then she felt much better.
