Since Jeffers is having issues with their website and I need to order stuff, like yesterday.... Is there anywhere else I can go that anyone here has experience with. Jeffers has been my main place for supplies so now i'm kinda at a loss. Hopefully their website is changed or fixed soon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I've also purchased from Valley Vet Supply. I don't have their website right now but it'll come up on a search engine. Some of their products are quite cheap while other products seems like the price is jacked up a little. I bought my Udderly EZ milker from them for $125 which was the cheapest I could find.

Hoegger's Supply (not as cheap though)
Caprine Supply (also not as cheap)
    Here's a link for Tractor Supply: http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp/wcs ... 06%7C14612

I've bought from Hoegger's, Caprine Supply, and Valley Vet and am happy with their service. None were as good as Jeffers though. :sigh:

I've used Hoegger's a lot. They can be slow at times, so order well in advance when you need something:

I've also used Caprine Supply for stuff that was out of stock elsewhere, but they're on the expensive side:

I agree on the Jeffer's site change..... if it wasn't broken, why did they try to fix it?

I use several different places. I hardly ever use Jeffers because they are high on a lot of stuff.

Here are some sites I use.

http://www.midstateswoolgrowers.com (don't let the name fool you, they have lots of stuff)

    http://www.valleyvet.com

    http://www.lakelandvetonline.com

    http://www.hambydairysupply.com

http://www.pipevet.com. (that is where i get my Ammonia Chloride )

    http://www.caprinesupply.com

Now not all of these are for Goats only, but they have everything that you need.

Have fun. I love to just look at the sites and see swhat else I really do not need but I have to get. :wahoo:

oo this is good! thanks guys. I am frustrated with jeffers right now and I am excited about trying other places.

Sarah a guy who interviewed me for a possible new job suggested that place. I ordered a catalog but it hasnt shown up yet  I wonder if they are slow or something

Ammonia Chloride is something that helps to prevent Urinary Calculi. (Kidney stones in the goats). It is a horrible thing to ever see and deal with. 9I know you have heard of that).

I do not give it as a preventative because I do not feed my boys grain unless it is a treat, but I have it in case I see a boy straining to pee. then I will give it to them to break up the stone.

Their online website isn't the best, I've never ordered online, always over the phone. But they are very nice and helpful and they ship really fast too. If you want a catalogue I would try calling them or I may have an old one laying around here somewhere.

I came home and my Nasco catalog had arrived

I am excited -- they will probably be the place I order from, from now on.
