    Hi everyone,

I received an email from an animal-human bond psychologist, asking me to participate in a survey about my goats. The woman doing the survey holds a PhD and checks out at the following college as legit: Dr. R. (Ruth) Lee Zasloff

So, I thought I would pass it on to you. The research could very well make goats more important in society, so it would be beneficial to all of us! Plus it gives us a chance to talk goats, and you know how we all love to do that! The information from the survey will probably be published, too. :)

Here's the letter sent to me. If this has been posted elsewhere, then ignore my post. Here's a link for the survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/goatsurvey

    Here's the letter:

I am a human-animal bond researcher from Sacramento, CA. As someone with a professional interest in human relationships with animals and as the caretaker of a small herd of pygora goats, I am very interested in learning about the experiences of people who have goats of all kinds, whether for commercial purposes or for fun and recreation. I am currently conducting an online survey for this purpose.

I would like to invite you to participate in this project. The survey is located at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/goatsurvey. Just click the link to get to it. Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone else who might like to participate.

It is my intention to use the information from this project to contribute to greater understanding and appreciation of these animals. I hope to present the data at the meeting of the International Society for Anthrozoology (ISAZ) next June. The ISAZ website is located at www.isaz.net.

If you have any questions about me or this project, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your kind assistance,

    Lee Zasloff
