Um really neat, but who's goats graze their lawn? I know they will eat pretty much everything else but grass from the ground?

Yep, saw it on the news this AM but either all or most were sheep, not goats.

They probably just put up stock photos or stock footage. A lot of people don't know the difference. When a sheep is shorn, or if you have hair sheep like I do, most people think they are goats.

I didn't see that there was a second picture. Yes your right those are sheep.

    The article said:
"Cows were ruled out because they are too heavy, and their hooves could stomp the small, colorful-shelled bog turtles.

Sheep? Well, they just aren't goats.

"Goats were just a viable solution," Buck said. "They do not eat moving things. They will not crush [the turtles] out there."

I like the ,"Sheep? Well, they just aren't goats."

My goats eat grass and weeds but they will eat what you don't want them to first if they can get to it.
Do any of you have goats that are careful where they step? What makes them think the turtles won't get stomped on?
Mine step on my feet all the time and @_$&*_@(_!$(@*$_(&(#*%^#_ need I say more.

    They did try! :thumb:
