Little Monster Roadster - you were the only Registered Nubian to carry the SLR herd name from our ranch. Your momma was a beautiful girl and your father an amazing boy with the genetics that he passed onto you.

I knew that I should have kept you, but thought it best to sell you and let you have a herd of your own. Unfortunately, now you are over the Rainbow Bridge. You had an extremely short life and no prodigeny to follow in your footsteps ......

You will always be remembered in my heart ----

I am not exactly sure - I sent an email to his new owner (she lives 3 hours away) and she said that she went out there a few weeks - a month back and he was gone..... she wasn't sure what happened. He was born in mid August of 2009 - so he wasn't very old. Not sure if she ever wormed him or cocci preventative or anything. He had the preventative before he left here at 6 weeks old on the bottle.

I am so sorry he is gone

Dealing with the death of a goatie you had taken the care to find the right home for is just as hard to deal with as if he was still with you

    So sorry for your loss,
I know from experince how hard it is to lose one you wish you had kept, but unfortuntely we don't have control of them once they leave and we need to accept that and realize that its not our fault. :angelgoat:
