Hello All - My sister-in-law and I are partners and just got our very first goats a couple of weeks ago. We've got one 94% Kiko buck, one Spanish doe, a 50/50 Kiko-Spanish doeling, and a couple of yearling does which are crosses - one looks like a Nubian-Boer and the other looks like a Nubian-Nigerian. We're primarily interested in breeding meat goats, but would like to get into breeding Cashmeres at some point in the future. We plan on getting into the fiber thing pretty heavily in the coming years. All our goats (the buck, Ace, included) are very sweet and we've been enjoying them. We also have: Shetland sheep (mostly ewes), one Blue-Faced Leicester ram, two Piedmontese heifers, and 15 free-range hens. We raise meat chickens in the summer.
Thank you! Yes, we do have quite the adventure. We're trying not to bite off more than we can chew PznIvy - Hi! We're in Marilla, about 20 miles east of Buffalo.
