Atleast I hope he will work out!
We named him Trig. He is an oberhasli/alpine/nubian cross. 3 weeks old. Only problem I see with him is that is was being dam raised and was not handled very much at all... :( I am trying to switch him to the bottle.
We have him in with a VERY FRIENDLY 3 month old, Max. I am hoping that with the two of them together then Trig will see Max getting all of the attention and want the attention, too.
What kind of experiences have you all had with getting dam raised babies to be good packers?

Hello,

I have mostly dam raised goats and they are acceptable packers. Bonding is one point amount many that make a good packer. A lazy, stubborn bottle raised goat is of less use as a packer than a dam raised goat with good work ethic.
