I have one 5 year old and two 2 year old wethers.

What is available this year is grassy/alfalfa.
Can I feed this to the wethers? All were nuetered
at 2 to 3 months old. I feed a loose mineral of 2 to 1 calcium.
No grains other than treats on a walk.

The only grass I can find is last years. And it is $50 dollars more
per ton than this years grassy alfalfa.

thank you,

As each goat is his own goat no one can answer this with 100% knowledge BUT I think a few of us can get close :) I personally think a grass / alfalfa mix is the perfect feed for a wethered goat. And seeing how you are not feeding grain daily or in quantity, I dont see any issues at all. Not to mention if they are going to be active during the summer months, the extra protein will do them good. This is the exact feed Ill be getting for Legion when he turns 1 :)
