23-month-old, intact male GP for $200. He was born with goats then taken to his previous owner's home at 8 weeks old. This owner let him run during the day and sleep with her at night. She sold him to us because he was beginning to play with her peacocks. We purchased him several months ago to be a guardian for our goat herd, to help our 6-year-old Maremma. However, he is not settling in to living with or guarding the herd and would rather be in the house with us. He is loving and loyal toward humans but doesn't really care about the livestock. While we have grown attached to him, we have too many other non-working, companion/housedogs to keep another. We do not live in an area where he can just "run" all day. He is up-to-date on all vaccines and has been on year-round heartworm and flea/tick prevention. This guy would be a great companion for someone able to give him the attention he desires. Pictures are available upon inquiry. We also have one baby male GP-Maremma cross. He is only 3 weeks old right now, so it will be a while before he is ready to go.
Re: Great Pyrenees in eastern Ohio He is solid white. Today, for the first time, he decided he wanted some of mama's food - uh, she wasn't really willing to share with him! LOL
