Here in northeast Texas the warm weather has the grasses shooting up along with the clovers and such. We all know that the first grasses are mostly water which I believe is causing this issue. I could be wrong. The goats are feeding on this big time and their poop is not pills for the most part. Some are kinda stuck together and or paddies. I was feeding pellets, alfalfa and whole oats with hay but since the grasses have started growing and the poop has changed, I have cut out the oats and alfalfa and back off on the pellets and making sure that they have plenty of hay, trying to get their poop back to pills. Is anyone else having this problem ? I check the eye lids and they are a good color of red. Any suggestions what else I could do ? One doe has 3 week old kids and I have wormed her once but may need to again. Thoughts ??
