I've noticed that Thomas' pee has been a bright green colour
Is this bad? They have access to water 24/7
I haven't seen Josh pee at all.
Their poops are fine.

Is this a sign of something?

As much hay as they want, native branches, green grass every now and then, and a mix of stock pellets and cereal because they don't really like their pellets

Are you sure you aren't seeing the grass color through the pee? I would also make sure you see the other little guy pee.

I'll see if I can see Josh pee, I rarely do.
They seem happy enough otherwise, I was just worried something bad might be happening to them :(

If Josh temp is normal, he has steady stream & no crystals around his belly where he pees he is probably ok.

that is puzzling, a picture would be interesting to see ..but I agree..as long as he is well other wise watch him close..make sure things dont change...its most likely something he is digesting., lots of foods can change pee and berries green,..might try offering electrolytes to encouage more intake to flush his system. here is a recipe to try if you like//

Homemade Electrolytes
A half gallon of hot water
2-6 Tablespoons of Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses
1-2 Tablespoons of Either Sea Salt, Epsom Salt, Baking Soda or Table Salt.
1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

How do you give it to them? Just in their water tub?

Green pee is caused by...Excess protein, excess vitamin B, Asparagus, other high oxalic plants, dyes in their food, etc.

I could be excess protein...but I hadn't changed anything before I noticed.
I'll look up about the plants because we recently fed them a different kind of tree branch
