Hi, newbie here with a 3-yr old Alpine doe who just gave birth two days ago. She had a small but healthy singleton; the little doeling does appear to have orange liquid poop. The momma's
teats looked puckered and saggy before birth, but now they look grossly uneven in size. I see the doeling trying to milk from the larger one, then switching to the smaller one. I was able to milk a few squirts from the large teat, and the home mastitis test appears negative (no gelling or thickening). No clumps in the milk. Yesterday the doe momma was eating regularly, but today she is not eating grain nor grass; she did eat a few bananas. Any ideas?
Thanks! Jessica
