mom had her first chiropractor appointment. Didnt take long, He said she wasnt too bad but its because she isnt worked. He thinks she should see him one more time just to make sure everything stays where it should, but hopefully no more clicking in the rear. He loved how easy going she was even though some of the "pops" were painful.

nothing new which is great. Mom still lets her nurse but doesnt let her eat until she is getting full. I think mom is finally gaining weight again. i think the change of hay helped. nothing like a $30 bale and 10 pounds of TC senior to get some weight on a day. My pocket book is very lightweight these days and i wonder why i keep doing this too myself. If i didnt spend all my savings on feed then i could have so much more
dental exam tomorrow for mare. She hasnt had one since she was little. going to be at least 800 . dont know how anyone could afford to do this every few years. I know she has some points, but havent noticed any other issues, no scars in her cheek or anything from sharp teeth. Just want to get it done as she is 13 now.
officially put some for sale ads for Venus. Just cant keep affording all this feed and I dont have tons of extra free time. We shall see if any serious interest.

well, came home last night to my new hot wire fence line not where it should be and the horses by the barn
good news- the little beast is fine and they didnt go in the yard so thinking she went thru the fence at dark.
bad news- took me all day to do that line of fence. so i spent three hours in the dark trying to get the fence ready so i can pound more posts in the ground this morning. so it was 11 pm when i finally got to bed ....
Morning comes around(5:30), still dark so i try to get all the goats fed and watered, horses fed ect. then work on the fence. I hope i got it right. Curious if im going to have any neighbor's mad at me for making a racket in the early morning.... but i didnt have a choice... i didnt hear any shorts in the fence when i was rushing around trying to get to work on time.....
hopefully tonight goes better and the little stinker will be on the correct side of the fence...she needs to learn to stop before the fence...maybe i need a white pre-fence before the main fence.
