I read it helps put weight on goats. .but how much should you givea goat.
Okay thanks. My girls had triplets and with milking need to put on weight. I have large breed goats, Nubian, Alpine,I have used it after a young doe had a bad spout of coccidiosis and polio. She lost alot of weight it really packed the flesh back on her. I liked it alot.
My girl got it top dressed on regular feed i worked her up slowly to about 1/2 cup teice daily she is a full sized nubian.
What is the name of it or picture of bag or link it . That way I know what I am looking for. Wow price of your hay. IThanksI have used it too, for a doe I added to the herd who was underweight coming from her previous home. Right now I'm trying to put weight on a doe who is very thin after kidding quad buck kids and I am using a much cheaper, non-stabilized rice bran pellet from Tractor Supply. It's dustier than the Max E Glow stuff and I'm sure the quality isn't as good, but with hay costing $34-$37 a bale here now I am having to cut corners on supplements. Honestly it seems to be working the same as the Max E Glow and is half the price.
It's in a generic GrainLand feed bag. It's a yellow bag and they use the same one for all the plain grains (rolled oats, cracked corn etc come in the same bag.) At my tractor supply they have it in the row with the pig and cattle feed. What is the name of it or picture of bag or link it . That way I know what I am looking for. Wow price of your hay. IThanks
