We are brand new to the goat show world. My little girl has a wether and a doe and we are heading to the first show this weekend. What are some must have equipment and "stuff" that I need to take with us this weekend? Thanks in advance!

That is really exciting! I hope you and your little girl have a wonderful time!

It can depend on what breed of goat you have for the tack. Are they Boers or dairy goats? Are you planning on clipping them?

The basic things to bring are buckets for water and if you give grain something to feed that in too. Collars to show them with and soap, towels and maybe even a short hose to wash them with. And enough hay to give them during the weekend.

Good luck at the show.

Some people even bring their own water. You may also need to bring some type of bedding for the stalls. I know some people spray down the stall with clorox or something before putting the bedding down.

Oh you are going to have so much fun!
And welcome to TGS!
I bring & have on occasion used probiotics (the bovine tube) & Vetrx.
One extra bucket always comes in handy.
Zip ties. Duct tape if you need to any pad sharp areas of enclosure.
Dont forget goodies for yourself!
