Can you freeze whipping cream and have it usable afterwards. I won't be using it for whipping cause it goes in my coffee, or making DH's ice cream. I can get a really good deal on 1/2 pints and would like to take advantage of it but not if I can't freeze it. I have a bunch of pint jars if it needs to be transferred first.

I don't buy it but I do skim what I can from my goat milk and freeze it in quart size containers...works well for making butter and icecream after it's thawed .

I can get the heavy cream for 3 half pints for $1 so I think I will go get a dozen or so. This should last a while for coffee and ice cream.

What does goat milk/cream taste like in coffee?

Well, I couldn't answer that one because I don't put milk in my coffee

I love the "kick" that coffee give but I hate the taste, therefore I must temper it with milk/cream and sugar :) If I order coffee at a restaurant, I tell them to bring the cow as I need a lot of creamer.
