Hello everyone! I'm Jana from Spring Creek Nevada, my husband and I have just brought home a pair of hairy Angora goats. We have always been interested in homesteading and just recently have been able to get started. our first animals to the home were our black satin doe rabbits then we bought our new Zealand buck a few days ago along with our mixed matched flock of chickens. The goats are so exciting to have with us! my kids are the in heaven with so many animals around them!
I am so excited to get to know everyone and am hoping to learn from you all!;)

Yerington is about 90 miles south of Reno, 50 miles east of Carson City.
Nigerians are by far my favorite breed, but I am a little biased ;)

Cashmeres are my favorite "breed"

They are almost considered a breed. We are so close. So for the sake of pushing it forward I am making a statement: my favorite breed of goat is the cashmere goat. Lol
