I am new to young goats. The last one I had was 14 when she passed. I banded my baby boy at 9 weeks, on June 14, on July 22, he got it caught on something and ripped it off. ( if I can post the vid, it shows what it looked like. Today, July 30, it looks like it is irritated and bleeding up high... see pics. What do you think? I have kept bluekote on it and he seems fine, but it concerns me.

Maybe you should let a vet look at it as well. Keep flies off it and check for temp. Watch out that he doesnt get infection. Poor baby. Is he uncomfortable when you touch it?
