Sometimes goats throw us for a loop for sure. Treatment for UC won't hurt. Some factors can be involved such as how young was he when banded. Being boer he can be prone to calcium stones..while even in his breed this is not as common as phosphorus stones it can happen. Best thing to do is try to collect any stones he may deliver and test them to know what he is dealing with.
Agreed, however I don’t have one near me. The closest vet is three hours away One Direction. I am here looking for help because I don’t have any where else to turn. I took him to an emergency vet today because he was willing to try and he almost cut off the tip of his shaft not penis but shaft
Unfortunately, that is really beyond internet help. You need at least an extremely knowledgeable goat person who can physically look at him.
It was not the pizzle. He did not even expose the penis. He grabbed the skin at the til of the shaft where the penis comes out and started to cut.
It was not a pizzle cut. I Know what that is, and I cannot drive that far. It has nothing to do with willingness.
Oh no.. why on earth would he cut the sheath? Ugh..if you need to snip the pizzle I have a few good links for you to read on how to..maybe send them to that vet!!
