Big momma finally kidded three little babies yesterday afternoon. We lost one as we missed the both by a few minutes. Little girl (runtime) is quiet weak and is having trouble walking. We have been putting her on momma for feeds once a hour. She has perked up a bit but still very concerned. Anything we can do? Bottle feed?

Do you have BoSe or selenuim gel? No need to bottle feed quite yet.
Is her mouth toasty warm? Not hunched over?

eta kids often times have weak legs to start.

She is having trouble standing still. She is 24hrs old and it is almost like she can't get her front legal to straighten out. She isn't eating all that well so we are trying to milk mom and feed baby but she still doesn't understand bottle feeding

We have kept a really close eye on her and she is jot getting up to feed so we bring her to mom every hour and hold her up while she feeds. She will eat for 1m+ and her belly is full. We are going to give her selinium* today to try and help relax those muscles in her legs in hopes to get them straight so she can walk. Here's hoping it help in the next two days

She is doing alright. The selinium can take up to two days to be effective so we are keeping our fingers crossed

We have absolutely nothing in the way of live stock supplies around here. So we used capsules crashed up and mixed with hot water. Added a bit of vitamin e as well. She is a little fighter. She is definetly looking better but May need a second run of selinium.
