Any suggestions on cleaning our goats? They are going to a local fair next week. We bathed/shampooed all 3 of them, but I think it's pine tar that I can't get out. I tried soap and clipped some of it out, but any ideas on what really works?

We also trimmed toe-nails and clipped hair around their feet.

Not set up for total goat trim this year, so maybe another fair.

Help with cleaning hair to get out the nasty stuff?????

    Thanks in advance

Depending on what part of their bodies the tar is, you can use a bit of the stuff you would use for stuck adhesive...Goo Gone I think it's called, just don't use it near their faces or rears...Rubbing Alcohol might help too wet a rag with it and hold it on the spot, it will ball up as you rub and you should be able to wipe it out....if this fails try vegetable oil, then a spot shampoo to remove the oil. Other than that, you might need to cut it out. Hope it works

You might want to try using a stripping knife. It will cut the tar out but not leave a missing chunk like clippers or scissors would.
