My goats (kids) are going to arrive before I have permanent fencing up. I'm going to use woven wire with one or two strands of electric wire to supplement.

In the meantime, I'm over at and am looking at getting 164 feet of Electrostop electric netting.

The least expensive energizer is the P5 Patriot AC/DC Energizer. Will this do? I'm pretty sure the electric netting will do the trick but I want to make sure I have the right energizer, spending as little as possible. Should I go higher?

I called Premiere and they said that energizer would be suitable for up to 4 rolls of the electronet or 2500 feet of single strand wire, so I think I'm good to go.
