I have a pig that has had a slight cough for a few weeks. It didn't seem to bother him much so I waited to see if it would go away on it's own. Well, today he's worse. Coughing a lot more and has a runny nose. We had a sudden drop in temperature last night so I'm assuming that has something to do with it. He's still eating and drinking normally as well as running around playing :)
Anyway, any treatment suggestions would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like pneumonia, or one of the other respiratory diseases pigs can get. You can give LA 200 (or Draxxin) both are injected IM in the neck. I would go by the dose on the bottle for you pig. Do be prepared though, pigs HATE shots and I would definitely have someone help hold him.

Alright, thanks guys! That's what I was thinking after looking it up as well. I'm pretty new to pigs so I just wanted some other opinions.

The best thing for giving shots is to use a snare rope but make sure you get it the first or second time cause they are smart and eventually figure out what you're doing!
