We got a kid tonight that is just leaving her Mother. She seems very skinny and does not have much interest in eating. Should we try to bottle feed her, even though she was not a bottle baby before? Can we try human milk to see if it will even take, or do we buy a replacer only? I don't want to spend too much to see her turn her nose away. Any suggestions? We gave her pellets and some sweet feed. Not too interested yet.

    Thanks in advance!

I agree with needing to know her age.

if she isnt eating hay or grain she needs nurishment. I hope she is old enough to be weaned but it doesnt soudn like it. If she is younger then 8 weeks then try a bottle or leave milk out in a bowl for her to drink, watch for it souring though. YOu might need to teach her to drink it.
