Hi everyone! My mom and I are new to goat-keeping. We bought a milk goat and her little weathered boy this summer, and are loving it! They are so much fun. We spent a lot of time at the goat farm where we bought them, and have learned a lot over the last few months. Our girl's name is Sasha. She is 3/4 Nubian, and 1/4 Oberhasli. This is her first freshening, and she is doing so well. Our little boy is named Bambi because he is brown and has white spots on his back and sides. He is 7/8 Nubian, and has those long floppy ears that breed is so famous for. We love our goats! They are such characters. Looking forward to getting to know all of you here on TGS! Anna
Welcome! I live in Elk grove California and I have Nigerians But I LOVE Nubians and those cute floppy ears! Yours are sooooo pretty
Glad to have you. Hope your long-eared kid doesn't have a mouth to match. :sigh: Mine does. I'm thinking of asking/pleading/praying my vet to clip his vocal cords. He is VERY LOUD! Gina

Yes welcome Anna! You will have a great time here & learn lots :thumb: We raise Boers & a few % out of my only purebred Nubian. She is a big old baby who thinks the only reason I come outside is to love on only her.
SO glad you joined us. That is great that you spent so much time learning about goats. That is so wonderful. Pictures are so cute. Welcome from Colorado
