Hi, I am rocky_ridge_goats! I am raising a Saanen wether and a Toggenburg wether. (What a handful!) I hope to train them as pack goats. Right now, these are my only goats. I am in 4-H, and I am hoping to sell one next year so I can buy a Toggenburg doe!

    Hello from PA!!

I'm in the very southern tip of Armstrong county...Those Togg wethers can get HUGE!!! My mom has 3 of them and my goodness are they monsters compared to my Nigi's!

Good luck with the pack training, there are a few members here that have wethers as pack goats...FunnyRiverFarm also has her Alpine Benny trained to pull a cart. I would imagine a Saanen would be just as big too, I haven't seen too many around here, mainly Toggs and Alpines.

Welcome from Alabama! I've been working with a couple of mine as well. They don't mind saddle bags at all. Romeo never stops grazing.
