Just to update you, I have had an experienced goat breeder to check if Iam doing hooves correctly, and thank you for your help. I just need to trim them bit shorter, they go for walks along our Bank top which is rough tarmac, so that should help I hope.

Thank you so much for all advice, one other area Iam unsure of, is Himalayan salt lick (pink) okay for wether and does, is that all they need. Also my does seems bit rounder than the wether, she does a few clumpy poops now, I noticed, they do break up easy though. Is that normal.

Himalayan salt is fine to have out. Goats also need to have free choice access to loose minerals, which are a sandlike consistency. If yours don't have any yet, look at your feed store and see what is available. There are people on here that can help you pick whoch one to get.
As for the clumpy poop, it might be a good idea to take a fresh fecal sample to your vet to check for parasites.
The roundness could be her rumen, which is normal

It's new goat mummy again.
Need bit of advice or reassurance. My 6 months old Pygmy doe has just started doing a few clumpy poops and normal berries, they break up fairly well, this been like it few days, she been wormed, could she just have a sensitive digestion system? Only reading up, it's seems it's something to keep check on. She is eating her hay well, in fact a piggy, only has very very small amount of Pygmy mix, few carrots, but apple and garlic, should I stop the last bits and see his she is.

Sometimes with worming..you have to reworm in 10 days when the eggs hatch. Depends on the type of worm..and what you use to deworm with.

My vet did worm injection, that's all I know, are berries clumping a bit with normal berries due to her eating too much hay ?or should I just cut out carrot, bit of garlic and see how she is

Usually...not all the time...the loose stools are worm load. I would take a fecal sample to your vet. Let him do a fecal and go from there. That would end the guessing game and your vet would be there to help. Garlic & hay usually dont cause loose stools. Carrots are higher in sugar and can affect the rumen like grain.

Arh thank you for that info, I did not know about carrots, she perhaps more sensitive than my boy, I have a kit to be able to send off poop for worm test, is that what you mean about decal test? Sorry to be not too bright on all this, I keep reading up but get worried that Iam not doing things right. Thanks again

Would you just give hay, occasionally garlic, small amount of Pygmy goat mix, which has some dried carrot, and only give hard carrot as odd treat, what treats are best to give, I did give banana, but celery too x

, I meant the poop goes into a container and sent in post to be checked , like worm count specialist. Worm injection done 9th November by vet, I will stop the carrots too x

Yes the carrot can be used as a treat. The hay, pygmie mix , is what they both will need. Lots of fresh clean water to drink. Its sounds to me you are a :great: goat mom. Hang in there!

Also I've had equine in the past, got hens and duck and goose now, thought goat would be easy, they seem more delicate than I thought, I just got to keep learning, with all your help thanks , sorry to keep bothering you x
